The Super Bowl Experience comes to Margaret T. Hance Park in downtown Phoenix on

The Super Bowl Experience comes to Margaret T. Hance Park in downtown Phoenix on Thursday, Feb. 9, for four days of Super Bowl weekend fun including family-friendly games, local food vendors and live performances by local music royalty − Jimmy Eat World and Gin Blossoms sharing a stage for the first time ever! − on Thursday, plus country superstar Lee Brice on Friday and Major Lazer on Saturday.

The free outdoor festival is presented by the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee and Lowe's. It's open to all ages day and night. Viewing space for the concerts is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. So get there early if catching a guitar pick is on your Super Bowl weekend to-do list.

Along with live entertainment and games, fans can enjoy local cuisine and local beer from Hensley Beverage Company.

There's also a ticketed Super Bowl Experience at the Phoenix Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 4-5, and Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 9-11.

Margaret T. Hance Park is at 67 W. Culver Street in downtown Phoenix, south of E. McDowell Road between N. Third Avenue and N. Central Avenue.

There are three different gates visitors may use. Those with bags must enter through Gate A. If you don't have a bag, you are encouraged to use Gates B and C.

Gate A – East Side of Hance Park under Central Avenue Bridge at 67 W. Culver Street.

Gate B – N. First Street and E. Moreland Street.

Gate C – N. Second Street and E. Moreland Street.

The Super Bowl Experience at Margaret T. Hance Park runs from 2 p.m.-10 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Feb. 9-10; 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11; and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12.

Gin Blossoms will take the stage at 7:15 p.m. followed by Jimmy Eat World on Thursday, Feb. 9.

Lee Brice takes the stage on Friday, Feb. 10.

Major Lazer is the headliner on Saturday, Feb. 11. Major Lazer is the dance trio of Diplo, Walshy Fire and Ape Drums.

Yes, you can the Super Bowl at Hance Park.

The first-ever official Super Bowl Watch Party takes place Sunday, Feb. 12.

The Super Bowl will air on Fox in English and on Fox Deportes in Spanish, both broadcasts beginning at 4:30 p.m. MST.

The FOX broadcast will be shown at Hance Park on what they claim are the largest LED screens in the state of Arizona.

Gates open at 11 a.m. for the ultimate tailgate experience before the free watch party.

Weekend activities include:

A football-themed obstacle course presented by Barrow Neurological Institute with a scoreboard to track each participant's performance.

A PetSmart MVPets TAILgate experience, where fans can print a personalized trading card featuring their pet and test their own agility and speed with a 40-yard dash in a human hamster wheel.

A Frito-Lay's Route 57 area featuring athlete appearances, a human claw machine, a Doritos football-themed arcade and even a touchdown dive into a pool of Cheetos foam-filled puffs.

A Verizon activation with games that offer fans the opportunity to win big prizes, such as tickets to the Super Bowl.

Photo ops include a mural selfie wall, a 16-foot Vince Lombardi trophy, super-sized LVII Roman numerals and a 44-foot LED saguaro cactus.

Outside alcohol is not allowed at Hance Park.

Only guests 21+ will be allowed to consume alcohol.

Guests wanting to consume alcohol will be required to visit an ID check station within Hance Park prior to purchasing drinks or ordering at a bar.

Drink options will include local and domestic beer from Hensley that will be available at the bar stations inside Hance Park.

There will be a limited number of bike racks on the west side of Hance Park near the Culver parking lot.

Here's how to get to Hance Park:

From E. Sky Harbor Blvd: Merge onto I-10 West to downtown Phoenix via the left ramp. Take Exit 148 for Jefferson Street and continue north toward Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street and head west to downtown. OR Head east on E. Sky Harbor Boulevard. Merge onto I-10 W via the ramp on the left to Downtown Phoenix. Take Exit 145A for Seventh Street. Turn left and head south.

From the North Valley: From I-17: Take I-17 South to Exit 199B for Jefferson Street. Turn left onto Jefferson Street and head east to downtown. OR From I-17: Take I-17 South to Exit 200A towards Central Phoenix. Merge onto I-10 East. Take Exit 144A for Seventh Avenue. Turn right onto Seventh Avenue and head south to downtown.

From Paradise Valley or Scottsdale: From SR-51: Take SR-51 South and merge onto I-10 W. Take Exit 145A for Seventh Street. Turn left onto Seventh Street and head south to downtown.

From the South Valley: Take Baseline Road or Broadway Road from the east or west and head north on Seventh Avenue or Seventh Street to downtown.

From the West Valley: From I-10: Take I-10 East to Exit 144A for Seventh Avenue. Turn right on Seventh Avenue and head south to downtown. OR From SR-101: Take SR-101 South and merge onto I-10 East. Take Exit 144A for Seventh Avenue. Turn right on Seventh Avenue and head south to downtown.

From the East Valley:From I-10: Take I-10 West to Exit 148 for Jefferson Street. Head north toward Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street and head west to downtown. OR From US-60: Take US-60 West and merge onto I-10 West to Phoenix. Take Exit 145A for Seventh Street. Turn left on Seventh Street and head south to downtown. OR From Loop 202: Continue west on Loop 202 to the I-10 West Los Angeles ramp. Merge onto I-10 West and take Exit 145A for Seventh. Turn left and head south to downtown.

There is no event-specific parking for Hance Park.

There are, however, parking meters and paid parking lots throughout the downtown area. Make sure to check where you are parking and the spot's time limit to avoid tickets.

While guests are allowed to leave and re-enter Hance Park, their return is not guaranteed as the free event is first come, first serve.
